Ricou’s workshop
All of the decorations were patiently restored over many months by the Atelier de Ricou teams.
The workshop was born in 1989 from the meeting of two aesthetes, Cyril and Stéphanie de Ricou, and two skills: the creation of painted decorations and the restoration of paintings and sculptures for Historic Monuments. From this confrontation was born the requirement to keep the decoration in coherence with the architecture.
This credo of remaining as true as possible to the spirit of the place has taken shape over the years, from classicism to modernity.
The Atelier de Ricou has notably worked in emblematic and prestigious places such as the Hotel Lutetia and the Château de Versailles.
