For just a moment
Jacques and Laurent Pourcel assert a unique personality and culinary identity. They will offer you gastronomic experiences to discover in the three vaulted rooms of the Jardin des Sens, under gypseries and paintings by Jean de Roy, trompe-l’oeil, medallions and scrolls. They will also propose a bistronomic cuisine, upstairs, in the former wedding hall, in the courtyard of the hotel or on the terrace, close to the hackberry trees of the Place de la Canourgue.

Cultivating the culinary art
Le Jardin des Sens – the garden of senses,a restaurant in a hotel and not a hotel restaurant, authentic spaces with original decor – remarkable frescoes and decorations – rousing, reassuring, drawing you to another world, that of the eternal 17th Century, without leaving the world of today, thanks to the gastronomy. Here history and gastronomy meet in great and beautiful harmony.

A quick break
Our atmosphere designer, Christian Collot, has added his own touch of sensitivity to the 15 rooms and 5 suites. The spaces are treated like curiosity cabinets with a singular atmosphere that plunge into dreamlike worlds without losing the comfort and the requirements of today’s well-being.
He has made the spaces warm with wood, velvet, tapestries and paintings chosen in the colors of blue hour, purple and scarlet night.
Elegance is when the inside is as beautiful as the outside.

For art pursues History…
The mansion is also home to the GGL Foundation, whose primary mission is the dialogue between heritage and contemporary art. Four monumental contemporary works, commissioned by the Foundation, decorate the ceilings of the main areas of the building, echoing the historic decor. Within its space, the Foundation proposes contemporary art exhibitions, accessible to all, throughout the year.
Montpellier
A Southern Beauty with Mediterranean accents
Discovering Montpellier is first and foremost an architectural journey through 1,000 years of history, combining the narrow streets of the middle Ages with the prowess of the greatest contemporary architects. But Montpellier cannot be visited, it must be discovered.
This exceptional destination is not limited to its emblematic Place de la Comédie. It reveals itself around unmissable places: the Camargue natural park, the Languedoc wine route, the Thau basin or its magnificent wild beaches.
