For just a moment
Jacques and Laurent Pourcel assert a unique personality and culinary identity. They will offer you gastronomic experiences to discover in the three vaulted rooms of the Jardin des Sens, under gypseries and paintings by Jean de Roy, trompe-l’oeil, medallions and scrolls. They will also propose a bistronomic cuisine, upstairs, in the former wedding hall, in the courtyard of the hotel or on the terrace, close to the hackberry trees of the Place de la Canourgue.

Our atmosphere designer, Christian Collot, has added his own touch of sensitivity to the 15 rooms and 5 suites. The spaces are treated like curiosity cabinets with a singular atmosphere that plunge into dreamlike worlds without losing the comfort and the requirements of today’s well-being.
He has made the spaces warm with wood, velvet, tapestries and paintings chosen in the colors of blue hour, purple and scarlet night.

Christian Collot, atmosphere designer
An oversized bar, cabinets of curiosities, touches of the Grand Siècle and contemporary furniture: this is the delicate balance that Christian Collot has sought to achieve. The decorator in charge of the Hôtel Richer de Belleval used pastel tones to elegantly highlight the listed decorations, gypseries, gilding and moldings of the private mansion. On the top floor, draperies and velvets in the colors of blue hour, scarlet night, purple and pomegranate sublimate the most contemporary parts of the hotel.

Ricou’s workshop
All of the decorations were patiently restored over many months by the Atelier de Ricou teams. The workshop was born in 1989 from the meeting of two aesthetes, Cyril and Stéphanie de Ricou, and two skills: the creation of painted decorations and the restoration of paintings and sculptures for Historic Monuments. From this confrontation was born the requirement to keep the decoration in coherence with the architecture. This credo of remaining as true as possible to the spirit of the place has taken shape over the years, from classicism to modernity. The Atelier de Ricou has notably worked in emblematic and prestigious places such as the Hotel Lutetia and the Château de Versailles.

Philippe Prost Architecture Studio
A specialist in the restoration of historical monuments, Philippe Prost has already completed several prestigious renovations, including the Hôtel de la Monnaie in Paris. For several years now, he has been working on restoring the 2000 m² of this private mansion to its former glory. Thanks to the intervention of the Philippe Prost Architecture Workshop, the building has been restored to its former glory, and has even been enriched with contemporary touches, so that the Hôtel Richer de Belleval is an exceptional place, a moving testimony to architectural practices since the middle Ages.
